Come Back to Bed was my first book by Kayley Loring and it won’t be my last. I loved “Come Back to Bed” and both of the leading characters, Matt and Bernadette. The author is a very clever writer pulling me in from the very beginning. The characters were smart, witty, engaging, and on a journey of self-discovery and finding their soul mate. I had off work today for a snow-day and read this straight through all morning.Matt was an attorney who moved into his aunt’s home after being dumped by his live-in girlfriend. I liked how he was not only handsome and very well built (the visual descriptions were excellent), but also educated, thoughtful, funny, patient, and loyal. I loved how he loved his dog and how he admired Bernadette’s artistic talent and uniqueness. He was not a player nor a billionaire which was refreshing.Bernadette was a tough nut to crack but I loved how open and honest she was, and how as the reader, you knew exactly what she was thinking and why. I would love to be her friend in real life. She had some issues to work through, but was also smart and talented, a good friend, a hard worker, and an awesome temporary neighbor to Matt.Bernadette’s parents cracked me up and I liked how both leads had parents who were actually alive and that nothing tragic happened to them growing up. This seems to be the theme of so many books today after the success of Fifty Shades, and it was refreshing to have both sets of parents, plus his aunt, her employer, and their friends as secondary characters.I loved Matt and Bernadette together and was routing for them the entire time. They were friends and lovers, and I loved all of their conversations and times together. Their sexy times were all that and more! I could feel their connection and attraction towards one another on every page. They did go through a bit of a rough patch at the end, but I liked how they were honest with their feelings and didn’t play games, and how they eventually got their own HEA with everything coming full circle.This book is currently FREE on KU which is how I read it, but I liked it so much, I purchased a copy for only 99 cents so I can re-read it in the future. Well done Kayley!

This was so so so good!!! Omg!! Kayley Loring is just so good at creating really lovable and relatable characters. By far my favorite, especially Matt McGovern Esquire. He was delectable. Loved that he didn’t see what others so easily saw about him, he was surprisingly chill for a lawyer. Must be the S.B. vibes he grew up with.I loved how this author really got to the underbelly of her characters’ quirks and idiosyncrasies done pat. How Bernadette was a hopeless romantic, but scared of giving all of herself to anyone. I totally got that. She wasn’t living to her truest potential and I think she knew deep done that in order to love with all she had, she needed to be her best self. And that’s when she’s creating- painting. Loved that Matt was her inspiration to do that. And that he instinctively knew that she needed to be painting even before he knew her on that kind of level. It’s like two souls recognizing each other.I love how Kayley Loring perfectly captured the intense whirlwind feelings of falling in love, deeply and unreserved. These two characters were such fun and enjoyable people to spend time with and watch them come to terms of just being, in the moment, in love, being together. It was great and definitely a reread for sure. Thank you Ms. Loring for “Come Back to Bed” it was pure magic!P.S. love how every single one of her stories flows so well. She has to turning these stories into screenplays too, amirite?

Matt and Bernadette = Total Cuteness!!! This couple was the period adorable with a mix of heat. I loved their banter as it had me laughing a lot. Their inner monologues were HILARIOUS!!! The story was amazing and flowed well. This was an extremely well-written novel.

Matt and Bernadette’s story is all about finding unlikely true love with two people who think they have very little in common; however, find that they are a match made in heaven. The storyline is great and the love scenes are terrific. Once I started reading this book I didn’t want to put it down. I enjoyed every chapter.

but I'm going to check out her other books now. I really enjoyed both main characters and how the story progressed, so it's easy to suggest buying this book.

I read this book through kindle unlimited and found it another great read from this author. I loved the main characters ( Matt, Bernadette and OMG the amazing Daisy the dog). This author knows how to deliver an entertaining and engaging book without drowning her reader in angst and unnecessary drama. If you loved this author's books Sexy Nerd and Hello Darling ( which I did immensely and gave them both 5 stars ), then you will love this book like I did. This was a 4.5 star read that satisfies. You will not be disappointed you spent the time getting to know this seemingly mismatched pair of characters. I found this author on my own, liked her work enough to check regularly if she releases new books and received absolutely no compensation for this review and any others I have written. I have probably read and left reviews for almost all her books ( I have left quite a few 4 star reviews and yes I have even left her a bad 3 star review where I felt it was needed for "Green" ) so I have no pony in this race other than to tell other romance enthusiasts that this is a great read and worth their time.
