This is a pretty good book with lots of nice photos. The text is easy to read and not too dry, and they provide review questions in the back (fill in the blank) of each chapter. I do wish there would have been more in depth coverage on some things. In class we focus a good deal on hand scaling and curettage but the book doesn't really mention this much, it'd be a nice section to add. That said, in practice we rely on the ultrasonic scaler most and hand work is for touch ups.
excellent - starts out with basic information and builds on that to discuss the major topics of veterinary dentistry. Also it stresses the imvolvement of the whole team, not just the doctor. The most practical book on veterinary dentistry that I have read. The author has been a big part of the development of veterinary dentistry and he is excellent in explaining things. This book would be appropriate for staff members as well as veterinarians. Very good book.
A very good introduction to veterinary dentistry.Easy to read. Concise, yet broad spectrum. I thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from reading this textbook. It also serves as a valuable reference to bone up on those tidbits you tend to forget over time.
Good book. Explains things in an easy to understand way while still being detailed. Lot of pictures.
One chapter skips 10 pages and then another chapter repeats itself, failed a quiz because I couldn't study the material !!
Daughter needed it for class, arrived quickly and was perfect for her classes.
Very educational, with illustrations that back up the concepts. I purchased this book as a requirement by my college, but I was very pleased by the concepts taught and length of the chapters.
