My 4 year old grandson loves to tell jokes and riddles, so he loved this book. In fact, I got him three books of this type. He can't read yet, but he sure got the hang of it quickly. It was fun sitting with him to read and see his reactions, and then tell the jokes to his folks (sometimes slightly modified.) A great break from all the electronic gadgets that were under the tree.
I gave it to a 5 year old for Christmas that is trying to master his gift of telling jokes to people. He loved the new material and between reading some of the words and the pictures he had us all in stitches.
Kids loved the jokes. They are Funny and Age-Appropriate. My only complaint is that the book is short. After reading thru the jokes again a 2nd time, they haven't bothered to open the book again. Oh well, I'll pass it on to another family with young children to enjoy!
When Cows Sing is a delightful book that will make readers smile and giggle. These books for young readers encourage them to read more!
This is decent. My 4 year old is REALLY into this other knock knock joke book that we got so I figured he'd love this, but the jokes aren't quite as appealing as the knock knock jokes. I'm guessing this will grow on him as he gets a bit older.
This book is cute, but if you're considering a joke book, I would recommend the first book of knock knock jokes. It's was much more fun for my five year old.
perfect fun for a 4 year old and mamas, too!
