I had so much promise that I was planning to buy the whole series. But after reading this that is never going to happen! Based on the great reviews and the promise that it was in the same vein, but better then Fifty shades of Grey. This doesn’t even come close. This story is painfully slow. The only thing that is quick is the sex and how fast the two main characters fall in to bed with each other, over and over and over again. And this is straight up sex not romantic lovemaking, but borderline sexual abuse. The sex is repetitive and boring at best. The main story line is ridiculous easy to figure out. And the rest of the story lines are all left dangling with a cliffhanger ending. This was a total waste of my time. I don’t know how it has gotten so many 5 star reviews, guess there’s no accounting for taste. If this book wasn’t free I’d want a refund. I will be erasing this from my kindle and would only recommend this book to someone I didn’t like so that they could waste their time. All in all this book if you could call it that since it’s not a complete story and I hesitate to call it that was GARBAGE!
Nipple obsession for another. The word nipple appeared SIX times on ONE page! It is amazing how poorly written the dialog is and the characters and storyline are unbelievable. Glad it was a freebie. Just don't waste your time
This book had too much monotonous sex. Lots of sex scenes, all the same. My #1 problem with this book is the underlying story of a boy who endured a horrible sex crime at the age of ten. Talon, the main character had a tortured life but we don't get to see what happened unless we buy more books. What this says to me is that the author is more interested in lining her pockets than she is in satisfying her readers. My response to her is "Go to Hell" and I will be sure to never purchase another of her books.
I’ve only given a 1 star review one other time. This book was bad. Thank goodness this book was free because I would’ve asked for a refund (a first) if I could. So many inconsistencies in the storyline, it was ridiculous. The big secret I figured out quickly and it was torturous to try to continue so I gave up. I can’t believe it received so many “positive†reviews and there are 8 more books. No thank you!
Ir was just ok, but i am furious that it is a cliffhanger. On top of it all, the following books are *expensive* !
I didn't have alot of expectations with this new to me author...but I was floored. Talon and Jade's story is absolutely riveting. The characters are all flawed but perfect, if that makes any sense. The horror that is Talon (and the Steel Brothers lives) sucks you right in. The sexy times were just hot, hot, hot. Your heart sinks and flies and you wonder what next? What will be revealed? I hated to see it end.
What a waste of time. And ending on a cliffhanger. I hate unfinished business but won't buy the rest of the series
This book is horrible. If she mentions nipples as hard as pencil erasers once, she mentions it a dozen times and I'm not that far into the book. And mentions of his butt being awesome? We have to hear that every time he walks away. The writing is absolutely juvenile. If I hadn't seen a picture of the author, I would swear she had to be a 13 year old girl who's been reading really bad smutty Fan Fiction. At other times, I thought a guy has to be writing this, cause no woman acts like this.Back and forth we go between the two characters, having to listen to which body part is hard now, because they're looking at the other. Endless pages of having to hear what they're thinking about each other and then really bad dialogue when they actually speak to one another - before one decides to ravage the other while the one being ravaged wonders why it's happening. Plain old kissing scenes are embarrassing and make you groan.I'm far from a prude and I've read tons of really good smutty fan fiction and original character and books on Amazon, but this is unbelievably bad. If I hadn't gotten it for free I would ask for a refund. I can't believe this thing is a series and people actually bought more of it.
